It seems that for me, summer and blogging do not mix very well. I have been immersing myself in all the outdoor activities, playing nonstop with my children, and exploring all that Northern Michigan has to offer, so blogging has been taking quite the backseat. I will make better attempts at coming to this little space to share more of my thoughts and going ons with the family! I promise.
We have been experiencing a very warm summer in Michigan and this has worked out great since we bought a pool this year. The girls have spent countless hours playing outside and getting warm enough to jump right into the pool to swim. We have made many unplanned road trips which have been my favorite! Going up to see the Mackinac Bridge, visiting the Michilimackinac fort, walking around the Traverse City Cherry festival, driving through the tunnel of trees. Also we have been making sure to visit as much family as possible, cause winter is coming and then we will be holed up in the house. We are creating some awesome memories with the kids this year! Cannot wait to see how the second half of this summer goes!
