“Happiness is letting go of what you think your life is supposed to look like and celebrating it for everything that it is.” -Mandy Hale
Hello friends! This link party was created as a way to create some inspiration and happiness as we begin our week. It can be hard to find the happiness in our day to day, and I believe it truly does help to take a second to find the positive. Please take a second to visit all of my wonderful co-hosts who will be sharing this link party as well!

So how do I find happiness?
I find happiness in family dinners.
Growing up it was extremely important for us to have dinner together. There was not one thing that would keep us from all being around the table at that moment. Mom would call us and we all scrambled like we were running after a million dollars. Maybe we all just really enjoyed food. Or maybe it was so much more. Looking back I am so thankful that my parents made that time for family. It instilled a sense of importance. It instilled communication. It created a time that we were all able to talk about our worries or our funny moments. Some of the best memories happened around that table. There was laughter, tears, anger, and happiness.
Flash forward to today with my own family. We have dinner around the table every night. During the week, dinner is ready once my husband gets home. Therefore we are all excited to share news about our day. There is a lot of talking over each other, there is laughter, and there are tears. There are discussions about homeschool. There are talks about discipline. There is the potential of learning something new. It is one of my most favorite parts of the day. To sit together as a family and talk. It brings me such joy!
