Oh glorious winter

Winter oh glorious winter.

We are done. I am done.  I want to leave you and your bitter cold behind. I want to feel the sun beating down. The wind in my hair. The smell of freshly cut grass.

The girls and I are needing to get out. Get out of confinement. Get out of this little house. Get out, get out, get out!!!!

We are officially running out of indoor activities. The girls long for the days of bike riding, swimming, and running free. We are dreaming of what activities we will do once spring hits.

I do find winter to be a beautiful season. I love being able to take photos of the fresh snow in my backyard. The frost that envelops my windows.

The beautiful sunrises that make the snow sparkle.

The sun peaking out from the clouds during the many snow storms.

These are all beautiful opportunities to take a wonderful photo. However I do believe I am at my breaking point. I do not want to even open up my blinds. Winter go away. I may very well lose it. So if spring does not arrive shortly you can find me hiding in the closet with my sanity not intact!
