Mini Girls Bedroom Reveal

I have struggled and struggled for years with making the girls room a space that is cozy and not filled with clutter. It is literally the tiniest room I have ever seen. I am being completely honest. It is hard to fit two girls into a 90 square foot space! It is probably the one space where I have the most difficult time simplifying due to their extreme need to collect everything. This then causes it to be very challenging to get the room the way I would like it to look. You see the snowball effect here? But here I am even with all these challenges ready to reveal the girls’ bedroom! While this is just a mini makeover, I feel that it was just what the room needed in making it more age appropriate for the girls.

The first thing I wanted to get for the girls was new bedding. They have had the same bedding for years and of Disney characters that they no longer even liked. When searching for bedding I wanted to find something that would grow with them as they aged. Also I wanted bedding that was easy for them to make their beds with. Have you ever tried making the top bunk of bunk beds? It is near impossible.  I was so happy to find Beddy’s bedding while searching through Instagram. This bedding is the best I have ever seen. The appeal of Beddy’s bedding is that it fits over the mattress like a sheet. Also the bedding is all in one. That means no more dealing with the fitted or flat sheet. This bedding has been a dream for getting the girls to make their beds. Literally with just a zip and boom they are done!

Storage is a big issue with their bedroom. There is not much room for anything and when they do have things out, it can look so cluttered. So as we are constantly clearing out things, I found that a great option for their room would be a couple of baskets. These baskets sold by Happy Toy can be found on Amazon and are extremely sturdy. It has been a great option in storing all their stuffed animals.

Since I went for a more neutral color for the bedding, I wanted to find something for their beds that would speak to their personalities. So happy with these pillows from Teepee Joy. The girls both have an extreme love for dancing and for baseball so I knew they would be thrilled with these. The pillows are soft and easy to hug on! Perfect little pillows to add to any bed!

Finally I wanted to find cute decor to add special touches to their room. These wooden sign from The Desert Twig are amazing! I mean seriously the cutest signs. It is a small shop out of Idaho run by the sweetest and most passionate mama. The time and detail she puts into each piece will stand the test of time. These signs will easily be staples in the girls’ space for years to come.

There you have it! It may just be a little mini reveal but it sure made the girls happy. Their room know feels cozy, more age appropriate, and a little less cluttered!
