Three Months with Finnegan

Three months have come and gone. I know we all talk about how time rapidly goes by but my goodness how could my baby be three months already? It has been such a hectic three months but I am enjoying every minute of it. The girls are still smitten with their brother and are the greatest helpers I could of asked for. So what’s been happening with this sweet precious burrito?

Finnegan – Three Months

*Weighs 13 lbs 4 oz and is 23 inches tall.

*He is an eating machine. He started off eating every two hours but has since moved to eating every four hours. This definitely helps at night so I get a little more sleep!

*His smile is contagious. I love how happy he is.

*He hates tummy time. It is a real struggle to get him even a minute on his stomach.

*Is constantly moving.

*Grabs for toys. The girls are loving finally getting to interact with their brother!

*Likes to eat his hands.

*Has slept through the night five times! Usually though is waking up twice a night, around 12:30am and 4:30am.

*Talks up a storm. Oh and I swear he has been saying mom…

*Loves his swing just like his sisters did.

*Loves to chill in the bathtub.

*Hates being put in his car seat. Once he is buckled and the car is moving he settles down.

*Absolutely, positively hates hats. This is a bummer for me cause I love to put hats on babies!

Wow he is growing so quickly and I am trying to take in every moment. If I could I would ignore everything else happening in my life just so the kids and I could lounge in bed and play all day! That would be the life. However homeschooling two kids, working from home, and being a homemaker all while having a newborn has caused for quite an adjustment. But it is an adjustment worth doing. He truly does complete our family and brings us so much joy. It is hard to remember what life was like before Finnegan. Cannot wait to continue to watch him grow and learn.
